Jason's Deli

"I've been coming here regularly for about 8 years now. Never had any issues until this weekend when I dropped by for lunch. I was enjoying my food as usual when I heard an obnoxious lady screaming across the restaurant to the staff. At 1st I thought it was a unhappy customer but when she got up she had on the Jason's Deli uniform & all. I was shocked. She was saying something about her wages, hours or whatever & everyone working just ignored her. She was very adamant & condensing because she kept saying I am this & that trying to validate herself or something & mind you I sat by somewhere in the middle but close enough to the front. I heard everything & very clearly cuz she was so loud. & where she was at was right in the front by the door. Is that even appropriate? I guess she was on break because she got on her phone next & was speaking to whomever very loudly. I could hear her conversation. I mean there's no courtesy or mannerisms, if you're on break & wanna talk on the phone go outside to do it. I don't know if she's wanting attention or what but her loud voice & rudeness gave me a headache. It felt like I was at a ghetto Burger King or something. I ate my meal quickly & got out of there. I like Jason's Deli. I won't stop eating at a Jason's Deli but I might consider other locations now where the atmosphere is more quiet & not disruptive. I know there's on much further down on Westheimer towards the galleria. They're very quiet & the restaurant is a lot more spacious. I've seen a lot of good people working there don't get me wrong. I've eaten there at this location for so long. On one occasion I saw the manager helped an old man out the door and to his ride. Jason's Deli people are usually very well mannered & friendly. Just this time around it was awful. I work a lot & I'm tired a lot. I don't appreciate scenes like that to a trusted place where I just want to relax, enjoy my food & decompress."

"The zucchini garden pasta was really good. My husband enjoyed the salad bar and beef eaters sandwich. I'm happy there are vegetarian options here."

"I crave muffuletta sandwich. Fresh ingredients and great flavor. My only complaint is the ice cream machine spits out slurry. I hope they fix it soon."
