"Wow! I tried this place for the first time today, and I am so glad I did. The food was amazing and the staff were super friendly. Ordered online and my food was ready when I arrived. I got the smoked chicken with Cajun rice and green beans. Everything was delicious. I will be back soon. Give them your business and you will not be disappointed."

This is a little gem in an area known as a "food desert." The staff/owners are the nicest people who genuinely love what they do. I'm not typically a fan of bbq chicken because the flavor is always on the outside and not in the meat. This is an exception. The chicken has a rich smoky flavor all the way through. The oxtails were melt in your mouth delicious. But the cornbread is what's definitely got me going back. First, it's more like a corn cake. Its moist and dense. Second, it actually tastes like corn! Sweet corn. Put some butter on a warm piece and you're immediately transported back to the safety of the womb. I'm so glad I found this place."

"MY GOODNESS I must say!! I drove 30 minutes to try the food here. Well as you can see I CLEAN the plate! I ordered the catfish and shrimp w/cabbage and hushpuppies! The seasoning/batter was tremendous the cabbage I could all day! Oh can't forget the sweet tea was on point for sure! If you're ever in Houston checkout this hidden gem. You will not be disappointed trust me!"

The pulled pork sandwich and the brisket sandwich were both delicious. Now the rib plate with collards and potato salad or the Cajun rice...be ready to have the meat slide off the bones.
