The Pho Fix 1223 West 34th Street, Houston, TX 77018

"It's the first time I went to a Vietnamese restaurant that didn't have a kitchen in the back. There's only a pantry that you could see through a glass window. Very efficient operations with a total of Three staff. What you see is what you get and you can talk to them for any preferences you had. The combination bowl (pho) is of generous portion for $13; same comment applies to the grilled shrimp vermicelli for $15. It has a simple menu and yet should be sufficient for regular patrons who frequent this restaurant, giving the numerous combinations of ingredients available to choose. Having a "backyard" (called Stomping Grounds) is a big plus as you can enjoy your food while also enjoy live music (or whatever program they offer during your visit). Here are some downsides per my preferences: 1) First sip of the soup told me it was very salty even though the saltiness went down during subsequent sips. 2) The egg rolls were not what I normally expected in terms of size, textures and tastes on the first visit. They all looked right on my second visit and they gave me 50% more, which they needn't to, simply because the rolls were not ready at the time of order. Overall, it still deserves 4.5* due to exceptional courtesy and services."

"Nice concept to serve bowls , a little bit more on the salty side. Small Vietnamese rolls for the price. There are not too many choices of bowl sizes. Will try the Vermicelli next time to get a better review."

"Pho was very GOOD!!! I highly recommend if you are in the area. The customer service is amazing as well the staff is hilarious and so nice! I did build your own Pho bowl which was so good the meatballs were the best. Also the eggrolls were delicious. Will definitely be back!"

"1st time visit and I'm so glad I came! For me, Pho it's all about the broth and baby, it was delicioso! I have no complaints. I ordered the combination pho and spring rolls ( gonna enjoy those later at home cause I was so full and satisfied). As a small business owner, I loved how the owners and staff communicated with each other and with customers. Also a plus, the cleanliness on point! Definitely sharing this spot with my clients, family and friends. Best believe this will be an addition to regular spots!"

"Having just moved from Katy and being close to Asian Town we were a little bummed that we didn't have any Pho spots close by. Stumbled upon a Instagram about Pho fix and on the first rainy day decided to check it out. We were impressed and now have a go to spot whenever we are craving pho. I had the supreme bowl and opted for the flat Noodles and they did not disappoint, make sure to ask for scissors to cut up the beef rib. We also tried the Pho Dip sandwich and boy it's huge and delicious as well. If you want to be adventurous and create your own bowl you can do so. We will be back!"
