"Y’all weren’t playin when you said YUGE portions! My goodness! $11.99 for a host of specials and sides. My table got Monterey Chicken and rice/beans, carrots and fried okra. GF got burger and mom got fried shrimp. Overall, can’t beat portions. Mine was tasty. She liked burger. And her mom said shrimp was okay and tasted different. I tried and thought it was fine. But she’s also bougie and the type to not appreciate a simple, down home family restaurant compared to a chain or somewhere fancy and I am. Overall it was a good family owned home cooked restaurant. Even had Sunday service on TV! (But the TV was glitching and not working lol) server was nice. Heavy Mexican staff,… kind and great service. Lastly only suggestion is the men’s bathroons could’ve been cleaned up and were quite neglected. You also got a huge basket of rolls!! We took an Uber from our hotel for it. Spent about $50$60 for 3 ppl"

"Excellent food,service and ambiance. Fried green tomatoes were best I ever had. Portions are enormous, definitely shareable. However WARNING. BEWARE OF PARKING LOT, OUR TRUCK WAS BROKEN INTO. Police saying people are being followed from airport which is where we came from. They weren't able to steal truck but got away with purse with cash and credit cards which they attempted to use at home depot ."

"A must try if you're in the area, but also worth planning the drive out to. Prices are low, food is amazing quality, and the portions are LARGE on everything ordered. Food comes out fast staff members are attentive and welcoming. The pictures don't do it justice. Corn bread is Fluffy not dry. Cheddar broccoli soups taste is up to par. Daily specials for 11.99 mix and match any entree from that days special with your choice of two sides. Drinks are your typical fountain drinks. Fried Pickles as an appetizer we couldn't keep our hands off."
