"Amazing food. Prices are great. Attentive wait staff. 100% recommend. And the additional processing fee for debit or credit card payments is not a big deal. They have a sign as you walk in explaining this as well. So customers should be aware if people read signs like they should when visiting any establishment."
"I've been coming here for 15 years now, and it is the best. Best drinks and prices, best tasting food, the nicest servers, and most pretty decorations. Birthdays are hilarious here. I'm a shy/anxious person, but I always feel comfortable and welcome here."
"I came with a large group of friends, and the food was good, the waitstaff was great. What bothered us is that when it came time to pay the check, they charge an extra 3.5% on TOP of your tab if you want to pay with a credit card. I've yet to go to a restaurant in Houston that does that, and all of them are now using the same handheld machine to run your card. So what did my group do? They cut back on the tip to compensate for the extra charge. Who loses? The waitstaff. Who wins? Management I suppose. That didn't sit as well with us as the food did, so we won't be returning unless that changes. If it was a citywide, statewide, countrywide thing, fine, but there's simply no excuse. And yes, my overall rating is not an average of the three other things, which were all good. But you don't get a second chance to make a first impression, sooo...."
"Older establishment but comfortable and good prices. Seems to be a locals restaurant. The restaurant is one very large open room with a square bar in the middle, a tv on the wall and a jukebox as you enter. The patio looked fairly nice from what I could see. The west sun hits it directly (month of March around 6:00 pm) so we chose indoor seating. We did not have a margarita, but I’ve heard they are pretty good (and strong). They serve chips and salsa like all Mexican restaurants AND complimentary soup before the meal. The dinner bill with tip for 2 adults (no alcohol) and 1 child was $47.00. Restrooms were clean. Order consisted of the grilled chicken with broccoli (delicious!), chicken enchiladas and kids taco plate. I would have rated 5 stars if the serve was a little faster. We sat for a good while waiting for drink refills and then again for our check to arrive. Other than that, it was a good experience. We will return to try the margaritas."
