"I absolutely love Tarka!! My family and I are obsessed. Growing up, our neighbors would babysit us (they were Indian) and the smell of walking into Tarka smells exactly like their kitchen/house and brings back such sweet memories! The food is great, the price is great (I compared to chick-fil-a and it came out to be the same price to feed everyone, obviously I’m going to opt for the real and healthy food at Tarka!)"
"3 semi adults and 1 grandbaby enjoyed our meals. We sampled everything. The vegetable samosas were very tasty. My wife got the child's portion of chicken tikka masala with no heat. I got the chicken tikka masala with 3 out of 4 heat level, almost too hot but I ate half and saved the rest for later. Our daughter-in-law had a cheesy naan and shared it, very good. She also had a mild chicken tikka masala. She got a small order of fries for the youngster. I had a regular naan, usually go with garlic but the plain hit the spot. My wife and I usually get the hot chai tea and then pour it over ice, try it! You'll like it. We love that they let you order a smaller portion, the only down side is it has to be mild..."
"Absolutely ridiculous. Ordered 5 naans and chickpeas curry. The naans WERE RAW FROM THE TOP. They were brown from the bottom and completely white and raw from the top. I called the restaurant and the person who picked up was apologetic and professional but also said that the naans are usually from frozen packets. Tell me why shouldn't I go to any grocery store and pick up a pack of naans and just warm them up at home? I literally ordered naans and one curry because I had guests and this was insulting and disrespectful for any customer. This is complete fraud. You people need to advertise that your naans are frozen from packets, and then if you decide to serve them they should at least be properly cooked. What an utter waste of time and an embarrassment. They have good reviews that's why I chose them. Now I'm thinking they made those up because there's no way a restaurant with such high reviews can serve frozen and raw naans and still have a high review. Management please look into this. I also expect a full refund"
"Walk up to the counter and order. It seems like a cross-between fast food and a modern diner. The plates looked great but it didn't have that zest that comes from a traditional Indian or Nepalese restaurants. If you are looking for fast, this is your place; date night it isn't. This is the type of place you and your colleagues go to for a lunch meeting."
