"Fried fish is great. My family got sick after eating dishes that contained shrimp, the Soup and cocktail. Not ever going back. We were regular clients, but not anymore."
"Place is nice, but smells like it’s been mopped with the same mop as the restrooms. Like how it looked, pero parece más una cantina. Prices are high for what it is. Music is loud AF, cada quien sus gustos. Do not think I’ll be going back. It was more like a trial and error. Service was nice. Has potential, owner needs to figure out his clientele."
"The food we got was delicious! We got some free fish & shrimp tostadas as an appetizer that my husband and 3 year old daughter absolutely loved. We got the fiestin del mar parillada to share and I ordered a pulpo tostada. The restaurant was pretty empty and the waitress was nice but disappeared and we needed several things. I also didn't get my pulpo tostada until my husband flagged down another worker to remind him. The food was all delicious and I just think the service needs a bit of improvement but we would definitely go back for the food."
"I was craving seafood one day and told my husband let’s go to mambos.. he said it was far since it was in Katy during rush hour lol so he looked for something near home. He stumbled upon this place and we ordered take out the first time. The food was delicious! We had to come back and brought a friend to dine in. We went during happy hour and those margaritas and draft beers definitely hit the spot! The food the three of us got was definitely top notch. I was upset I couldn’t eat more lol. I took a seafood cocktail to go and that did not disappoint either. Im excited to go back. The customer service was nice too. Environment was clean which is a must for a restaurant and I overall enjoyed the ambiance. The price was not too bad considering we each got like 2 margaritas and 2 beers each. Don’t miss out on the happy hour deals!!!!"
"Went on a Friday early evening. Apart from the music being very loud (couldn't even hear ourselves or the waitress), everything else was great! The fresh/real lemonade, the camarones botaneros, camarones en mojo de ajo, cóctel de camarón were very yummy, but my favorite was the langostinos, they were very soft and flavorful. The michelada was ok. And the tostada they give at the beginning complementary was very delicious. They were getting ready for live music, but we left before it started. Service was excellent."
