"This is the most authentic Chinese I’ve had ever since I moved to the US . The owner is very nice and polite, great customer service! The restaurant is clean and had amazing music . I ordered 5 dishes at the restaurant. The price is very good, cheaper than most Chinese restaurants in Chinatown . The mapou tofu you can ask to remove the pepper corn if can’t handle the numbing spice , we had it removed and ordered level 2 spicy , it’s very tasty and slight sweet to it . The sizzling beef came out steamy and hot , IT WAS SIZZLING like crazy , beef is very tender and tastes great . The crispy spicy chicken is very authentic , numbing spicy to the tongue great for spice lovers . The tea leaf duck is cooked very well the skin is crispy and has a long lasting nice taste in the mouth , great texture , very filling . Xiao long bao is juicy and came with a pepper dipping sauce , pricing is very very good , for double amount the Xiao long bao but almost half the price compare to most restaurants . We end up finishing everything ! Great place for authentic Chinese food !"

"For the past 8 years I've lived in Houston, I've driven down to Chinatown by Bellaire and BW8 to get delicious szechuan chicken. Red Hot Chili Burrow is a much closer and just as good (possibly even better since they have soup dumplings here) experience! Everything I've had from here has been top notch delicious, and Janice, the owner, is really nice and very attentive. She works hard to ensure your meal is perfect and does an amazing job. I highly recommend the Szechuan Spicy Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Pineapple Fried Rice, Dumplings, Pot Stickers, and Soup Dumplings"

"We went there for lunch (about 1:30pm) and there wasn’t a wait and no other patrons in the restaurant. it was a wonderful experience. Very quick service freshly cooked food delicious Szechuan flavors. I highly recommend this place and we’ll definitely be back. Very authentic Szechuan cooking. Atmosphere: there’s probably about a dozen tables so a small little restaurant area. They packed up our to-go items. Janice was a great manager/server. Parking: Plenty of parking in the parking lot."

"Came for a Chinese style lunch with my husband and oldest daughter and fell in love. We asked the manager what her favorites were and was pleasantly surprised when following through with her recommendations. The food was excellent for the price and so good! We will definitely be returning here soon. The staff was friendly and the chef even came out to ask how everything was. We also loved the family recipe passion fruit tea. SO good!"
