"The atmosphere is very nice and great for conversation with good food. Their menu reminds me of the old Houstons restaurant. Loved their baby back rib dinner where the meat is so tender it slides right off the bone. Will definitely come back."

"We ordered the barbecue baby back ribs. We substituted the coleslaw for orzo and wild rice. We loved the ribs and fries. The ribs literally fell off the bone. Wasn’t a huge fan of the orzo and wild rice. We also ordered the deviled eggs and grilled artichoke. Both were super good appetizers. The kale salad had lots of good and refreshing flavor as well. Overall the whole experience was great and delicious. My husband and I split everything. The portion sizes were perfect and they bring it split and separate plates. So the picture below was my plate. My husband had the same thing. Service was wonderful. Everyone was nice and knowledgeable. The environment was relaxing and nice. And for the whole experience the price was great. Will definitely come back again!"

"Server did good making sure drinks were never empty. They pretty much ignored us otherwise, barely even took our order, and they were VERY slow to bring the check. Chicken was decent - the chicken at Hillstone (a restaurant in the same class level) is WAY better. The mashed potatoes were okay, but they needed to be more mashed. My significant other ordered a seafood plate. The presentation was OK. However, the sauce was unevenly distributed, and the grill marks were more than superficial (way burned). It actually tasted too much like charcoal in her mouth, and this made the entrée inedible. Lastly, she ordered squash, but as one can see, cauliflower is what came from the kitchen. Drinks were strong - if that is your preference. We are not returning."

"We went for our anniversary and wanted to eat good without the dressing up, more casual than most places. The food was decent. I'll give it a 7. Omg, the adult beverages were adulting...lol service was nice. the waitress gave good recommendations and even wished a happy anniversary with a piece of carrot cake, which was fresh and moist."

"J’Alexander’s is fantastic. Service, food, and ambience are fantastic. I have had so many items on the menu. You cannot go wrong with anything. From drinks and appetizers to entrees and desserts, all are always consistent and delicious. Brassiere chicken is my favorite entree and the key lime pie is to die for. Will always be a regular."
