"This location's customer service is very disappointing. I loved Golden Chick when they first came to the Houston area. Now that location-based is growing, the quality of service is going down. This location has coupon specials at this time. I came in to take advantage of the coupons. One special is 2 pc. Dark and mash potatoes for $4.89. Another coupon special 3 chicken tenders and a roll for $4.49. With 8.25% tax that comes to $10.15. Due to a register "glitch," Golden Chick is cheating their customer. The cashier attempted to charge $11.85. When I complained to management. The manager at first insulted my intelligence by saying it was due to tax. When I called her on that lie, she said it's due to the register and nothing she could do. She asked if I wanted it or not? The answer is NO!! It's the principle of the matter! I know some will say it's only $1.70. No, it's stealing from your customers plain and simple. Just imagine if 100 people came in to take advantage of this special and got charged extra. That is a total of $170 stolen from their customers. I'd rather eat somewhere that does not steal from me!"
