"I rarely leave bad reviews. And I didn't have trouble exchanging a gift last year from the same family member at this same store. Knowing I don't have a receipt, I'm not asking for cash. I planned to find something that I prefer wearing, and fully expected to then pay cash for the remainder of the price of an item I would actually wear... which means the store would have additional money in the register. But to be told "there's nothing we can do. She purchased your gift more than 60 days ago" feels like you don't WANT to help. There was no offer of assistance and no suggestion of an alternative beyond leaving the store with an item I won't enjoy wearing. Was I treated in such a brusque manner because my jacket had dog hair on it? I'm sorry that my 60lb arthritic 11 year old dog was in the truck and we have to pick her up to get her in and out of it. I won't bother trying to look like your type of client in the future because I'm never stepping foot inside the door of that store again. And I will (very kindly) ask my family member not to purchase items for me with Talbot's anymore so that I don't have to go through that again. Excellent work, losing future business."

"I was pleased with the help Martha gave me on the phone to purchase the only black cardigan they had left in my size (drove 27 miles to get it), and the transaction and interaction was really splendid. When I got to the store I thought I would check to see if they had any other staple colors I might want to add to my wardrobe. BIG MISTAKE! The one lady grabbed my bag to make sure I had paid for the contents and then turned around and never gave me an opportunity to ask where the others were. I wondered aimlessly around the store looking for the other colors to no avail and NOT ONCE did anyone ask if they could help me despite making direct eye contact with me. I WON’T be coming to this store again. This is the second time I’ve been here and treated like I’m non-existent! I’ll stay at my store in Stone oak and if they don’t have it I’ll just order it."

"First experience at Huebner Oaks location. I needed to exchange a gift order for a slightly larger size. I called and Shadow informed me that it was,( ABSOLUTELY!) available in-store, so I went the next day. As I walked in, there was my order, at the ready, hanging right by the sales desk! Shadow expediently and professionally handled my transaction within minutes! The store is clean and well arranged; beautiful to look at!
