"Lots of really friendly staff here. I’ll need to update to give them all credit. David at the bar is a great guy and is our usual weekday lunch guy. I eat here regularly so I have had some days better than others, but for the most part, everything is usually above expectations. I think it’s reasonable to have delays when a big game is on and the place is packed. Fun atmosphere too."
"Not the best picture but I visited this location while in Houston got a small fire and 6 wing combo. The sauce I had was a new sauce bourbon bbq but my wings were not fresh and hot at all tasted kind of hard like they’ve been sitting for a while."
"It took 5-10min for someone to bring me a menu at the bar or even acknowledge me. The bartender didn’t know what a heffeweisen was, but did have a blue moon on draft. The Buffalo Chicken salad was great though. The wings were a great flavor,l and so was the blue cheese."
"At the end of the day a one star is giving my experience more credit than deserved. I've worked in the industry before and during covid so I can understand when a restaurant is in the weeds, but the complete lack of customer service was ridiculous! We entered around 9pm. No one greeted us to seat us. There was a UFC game showing that night and we honestly expected it to be a lot buiser than it actually was. The traffic was similar to what a normal Saturday night would like like at bar/wing place. We had to seek someone out to even get a grasp on how seating worked and why there was an automatic $10 cover to dine. As we talked to the staff member he quickly mentioned that there was gratuity included. At first I didn't think anything of it. They considered this to be an "event" and gratuity included made the most sense for an "event-like" evening. We sat ourselves and waited for someone to greet us. A couple of servers passed us a bunch of times and didn't acknowledge our presence at all. So I went out of my way again to let someone know that we haven't been greeted at all and we didn't have menus and they responded rudely and with a glare that "Yeah, it's gonna be a minute". At that point I was ready to go purely off of the lack of hospitality and couth in a response, but we had realized it was getting late and we had limited options to eat out that night, especially if we wanted to go somewhere else for wings and a drink. We continued to wait until we were greeted by our server. At this point I expected to be met with the same attitude as before, but he was generally nice and answered my questions. The fights eventually started and I thought that could be something enjoyable to focus on despite the severe lack of customer service and instead I was met with audio and tv screens cutting in and out. So least to say I couldn't even enjoy the fight that they were charging for. The food finally got there after waiting for a long period of time. The wings were dry and most of the seasoning was on the parchment paper rather than on the wings itself. We ordered fries and told the food runner that there was something left out of our order. He said he would get them and we didn't recieve them until we were practically done with our food. You could tell (in the photo) that there were barely any fries on the plate and they were cold. Our server acknowledged the wait for the fries and took it off our ticket. Our server was honestly probably one of the only staff members that seemed to be working the hardest there. The overall attitudes of the staff working reflected that there was a silent consensus of "this is just how it goes". There were staff socializing amongst themselves sitting in front of the take out station and didn't make any effort to help buss tables or greet any customers, or refill drinks. When you're in the weeds it should be all hands on deck. The attitude of apathy and nonchalance truly penetrated the whole ambience of the restaurant. No one was in a hurry to do anything. There was no urgency to greet tables, to talk to customers or to buss tables. I really doubt there was a manager on duty and if there was, they didn't make their presence known. People outside of us were just waiting and waiting for anyone to acknowledge them at all. And truly seeing people wait even longer than us was hard to watch. We didn't end up leaving until around 12 am just with quality of service alone. No one seemed to acknowledge that was the pinnacle of what bad customer service looked like and no one was going out of their way to acknowledge, apologize or make amends for that."
