Reviews of Pho Sapa
"Found another Gem of a place. Knew we wouldn’t be disappointed when the place is packed after the lunch hour. 2pm and they were still near full. Little to no wait, even when full. They clean and sit you down with a quickness! When you order there was some difficulty due to a language barrier, but if all else fails. Point at the items on the menu and got it situated. ;) We ordered and got our food in SECONDS! I was like what just happened? Did they know we were coming. Now the only bad thing: Order two of your drinks from the start. Because they never came back around. Couldn’t get a refill on water, order more, nothing. But other than that, the taste was awesome! Fresh, flavorful broth, meat was tender & delicious. It’s now on my list as a top Pho spot in Houston. They only have two locations sadly, both of which are on the west side of town. So if you’re in the area, you know where to go. Price right: 12 bucks for a large bowl, serving size is plentiful. Plenty of meat in the bowl. Took pictures of their current menu items and current price points. If you enjoy a great bowl of Pho, try Pho Sapa! You won’t be disappointed. Until next time."
"This was a solid phở place! I didn't have high expectation before I came here but only knew that there were good opinions about it. I went for the Phở Đặc Biệt which I usually get at any vietnamese restaurant that serves phở. I was impressed that there were 2 rice noodle options: small or big. It being my first time here, I went for the small style. I also got a bowl of bone marrow on the side. Be warned, this is meat butter. If you are having health issues, please be cautious while ingesting this dish. The broth was pretty decent and had a good flavor to it. There was a good portion of meat ratio to noodles so no complaints there and the vegetables were fresh. For the bean sprouts, you could get it as steamed or not. I came here in the afternoon on a weekend but there was no wait and I was seated down right away."
"One of my favorite pho places. Pho Sapa moved last year. The new location is cleaner, brighter and more spacious. Pho broth is flavorful (not heavy nor salty). You can customize the pho bowl, choose your preferred noodle types and thickness - the typical rice, egg, or can do a mixed. I have posted a picture of the noodle option here. Friendly service, they have upgraded their system, order at the table (server carries a tablet) and pay at the counter. Efficient service (entry to exit can be as fast as 30 min). Plenty of parking. Definitely the place to go for a quick, non-fast-food lunch."
"We stopped in for lunch after landing in Houston on New Year's Eve. We were seated quickly in the large dining room and service was prompt and friendly. I had the rare steak with ginger and my partner went with the combination. We both went with rice noodles. The pho broth really hit the spot after a morning of travel and didn't need add-ins for me other than fresh veggies. I did the smaller bowl and it was beyond filling. I would definitely go back."
"You walk in and you are hit with the aroma of rich, incredible pho. Cheap, fantastic pho. The service is incredible here. My waitress was extremely kind and helpful, with a warm, welcoming smile. My food came out less than a minute after I ordered it! The broth has amazing light flavor and the noodles are cooked to perfection. I had the small bowl Goi Cuon, rare beef with ginger pho, and it was a steal for the amount of food you get. The ginger notes were delightful and light. Loved it. The Gia Song (springrolls) were also fantastic and perfectly cooked. I will be back here again."
