"No one to greet you , I had to wait. Very slow service for everything, even the check. Other waiters saw I was waiting and didn’t care at all. What has happened to the I hop I used to enjoy going to????? Won’t return to this location again."

"This place is disgusting and filthy. My mom's cheese burger had wilted lettuce with black spots, soggy tomatoes, our cheese sticks were obviously microwaved they had exploded and melted the cheese out. The table had old funk in the sugar caddy, on the pop up menu, on the side wall, leaking ceiling in foyer to restroom the floor was wet. How have they not been shut down by Harris County?? After our horrible experience I read other reviews and found similar stories to my own. I highly recommend NOT dining at this establishment."

"We visited iHop after many years but just for cold drinks we ordered something different and by mistake they prepared something else and then they made the right one. Friendly staff and we were very satisfied."

"I took my children into this establishment today, Sunday the 20th, and We tried very hard not to show judgment after being seated and began noticing the extreme filth, and insect infestation in the customer seating area. Having previously worked in the service industry, I cringed to imagine the conditions in the kitchen, if the customer areas were so openly disgusting. Images and video show filth caked on walls, glass, table backboards, rusted salt shakers with contaminated and clumped rusty salt inside. We cleaned our table ourselves with sani wipes from my own purse, but were forced to promptly leave after my daughter pulled a slimy black un identified object from her omelet along with fruit flies. Ihop had been a sentimental destination since I was a child, with a weekend ritual shared by my grandfather and myself, but I will never take my family to the Cypress, Texas location again. If I find this warning/complaint (along with countless other customer reviews) is ignored by corporate management, and the Harris health department (whom I've also filed a formal complaint) I will likely never visit the franchise again, and elevate my awareness warnings to a broader audience until some accountability is taken."
