"from my experience, it appears to be an upcoming travelers rest spit plenty big to take care of many. beautiful in comparison to most all pit stops. I dined once last year in their restaurant. I never had time this year. It is worth trying it out."

"The service is horrible. I brought a group of 15 seniors to eat here. I had been here a few times and I was very satisfied with EVERYTHING. Fast forward to Dec 8 2023. I had a very different experience. The manager was the cashier. I specifically asked if ff could be substituted for coleslaw. She said yes only to backtrack after the seniors had ordered. I ordered for most of them. And when their food was ready, I picked it up The cook was nice and accommodating, there were a few other nice workers. SAMANTHA was horrible and rude. The order was incorrect and when she finally gave the order to my senior she all but threw his food on the counter. The food is good but I will never come here again. I will never recommend them again."

"Great gas station right off of i-10. Has a great selection and friendly staff. The fountain drinks and coffee bar are clean and looked refreshing. The aisles were well stocked and inviting. The high ceiling made the room feel a lot bigger than it actually was. The beer seller in the corner looked huge! The bathrooms were clean just like the rest of the establishment. The restaurant is temporarily closed but should open when the highway construction is complete. They have plenty of gas pumps and a nice facade. A lot less crowded than Buc ees so if you ever want to skip the crowd on your next road trip stop here!"

"Kathy's Corner has it all. So convenient. Located right off the freeway, and easily accessible. The food is excellent, with a lot of variety. The menu includes seafood, hamburgers, fried chicken, gumbo, salads and sandwiches. We split the boiled shrimp special. It comes with corn and potatoes, with just the right amount of Cajun spice. Big platter, lots of shrimp. It was so-o-o good and staff are a well oiled machine. The rest room was very clean. There is also a convince store that even carries full size Blue Bell ice cream and a gift shop. They also have a selection of wine and of you like to cook your own seafood they can help you with that too. Fresh seafood such as crab legs, crab cakes, oysters and fish filets can be purchased. Some weekend evenings there is live music. If you are looking for a campground or somewhere to store your RV or boat Kathy's has that too, just down the road a bit."
