"The place was nice, clean and the staff were attentive and service was quick! My husband ordered the nachos and said they were some of the best nachos he's had in a long time. I had a taco salad, which came in the shell ( I love those) and it was really good! I have been searching for a place that has a good taco salad and haven't found one. The ground beef was not greasy and had a nice flavor. I used to eat at Victors a lot when it was in North Fry, and was excited when they opened right near me. I wasn't sure if the food was going to be the same, but I am really glad we went, because now Victors will be in our dine out rotation restaurants!"
"First time at this location. We used to go to the one off of Fry Rd north of I-10. Most memorable the year of the big freeze. Anyway, this is close to our house. The updated feel is nice. We were greeted and seated promptly. We ordered iced teas. They quickly brought chips and salsas. The green sauce was good and fresh. The red sauce had some heat to it. We ordered combo fajitas to share. They came out with all of the trimmings. Food quality was really good. Iced tea was fresh and cold. We will be back."
"Atmosphere: very clean and pretty but there is glass to see into the kitchen so that is strange. Accessible: It can get cramped and it would be difficult to go to the restrooms if you have mobility issues. There is a hallway that is small and bends. Service: Excellent beyond words. I was so impressed with the service and how everyone checked up and kept drinks full. Best experience I could have asked for. Food: it is not as good as the original restaurant that was on Fry Road so I am reviewing this separate for those expectations. The food was just okay. The fajitas really were tended but lacked flavor. The beef enchilada was also underwhelming as was the rice. The standout was the queso. This is an expensive restaurant so it was disappointing that the flavor was lacking. We will return and review again to confirm consistency."
"The food was decent and so was the price. We ordered the Tijuana and the fish tacos. It was a toss up between the fish and shrimp, next time I’ll order the shrimp. The fishy wasn’t as moist as I’d like and the same goes for the tres leches. More on that in a minute. The tacos come with two corn tortillas, but the waitress said their homemade corn tortillas were really good and they were. Our waitress was very nice. I can’t remember her name, but she did a wonderful job. The restaurant was very clean as were the restrooms. However, the men’s restroom had two empty paper towel dispensers and the toilet paper dispenser was stingy and only let you get about four squares at a time. Lol. Like I mentioned, the food was decent, but nothing to write home about. We ordered the flan and tres leches for dessert. The flan was much better than the tres leches. It wasn’t very moist and had a cornbread consistency, but the flavor was good. I’m interested to see how their fajitas are next go round."
"Been waiting like 14 months for this location to open after the Dad's restaurant in Fry Rd. closed. Just opened 4 days ago. Small space inside a shopping center, so not very large, but still a nice set up. All the food was great and what I was hoping for! Beef enchiladas are just as good as the Dad's place. Chips and salsa were very good as well. The service was a tad slower than you would like, but wasn't bad. I think they are lacking in staff right now, which seems to be the norm now days. This is going to be a regular spot for us. So glad they finally opened."
