"Wow! First time here. Authentic and delicious hole-in-the-wall MEXICAN food place!! Service was friendly and prompt. I had a beef/cheese chili rellenos; eggy coating and a great red sauce. Beans are lard-free but still tasty! The corn tortillas were the bomb!! Definitely will return!"

"Mama's kitchen was amazing, small place but great food and attentive service all around. Went in on a Saturday morning and had the Chicharrón Ranchero plate. It came with homemade tortillas, beans and potatoes, felt just like being at my mom's house. My wife enjoyed the chilaquiles with eggs so we will definitely be back. To clarify, this place is very authentically and traditionally Mexican, no Tex-Mex here."

I swear the hominy in the menudo is not from a can and these corn tortillas are not made from the maseca brand, I feel like they made it as our ancestors did. "We weren’t initially impressed with the starter salsa and chips. Salsa was too runny for our typical salsa. The chips seemed store bought. However, once our breakfast arrived, our opinions changed! Portion sizes were large. Food quality was great. All of our meals tasted great. I especially liked their breakfast papas. The decor of the place added to the authenticity of our culture. Honestly speaking, I hadn’t had a homemade corn tortilla this great tasting in a very VERY long time!"
