"I am from Washington State so coffee stands are everywhere there and coffee is a big deal up there. I have lived here almost 20 years and the coffee here in Texas is awful because of that my husband and I do not drink coffee, until we found Neon Bean. This was recommended on the Next Door App, someone who is also from the north said this coffee tastes just like it does up there and man was she right! It tastes just like home. My husband and I are amazed at how similar it is to up there, this is the best coffee we have ever had here in Texas. Starbucks eat your heart out. With the amazing kind staff and great coffee we will be regulars here and you can officially call us coffee drinkers now. Neon Bean thank you for giving me a piece of home 6 minutes down the road and for creating a coffee that actually tastes good."

"The prickly pear/bear lotus energy drink (pictured below) is AMAZING!! A great alternative to gas station energy drinks! Such a cute little spot with a great selection and WAY better coffee than anywhere else around, hands down. I'm sad I'll be leaving Bastrop soon and it won't be on my way to work anymore, but it's worth the drive, for sure!"

"If you’re looking for a burnt tasting espresso roast, like the popular major coffee chain, this is not your spot. Sydney’s shots are clean and smooth. The kids loved their Italian sodas. My teenager got an iced white chocolate strawberry mocha. I got an iced almond milk latte with cinnamon powder. Sydney was friendly and helpful. We all approve and will be back!"
