"I stumbled across this place the last time I was in San Antonio visiting a friend. It is now our go-to place for a quick snack or light evening meal we generally order two of the lonches. I especially like the aguacate which is a qualcamole sandwich. I'll add the buns are very fresh and tasty. Very simple menu and a very friendly staff to chat with."
"This hole in the wall GEM was a new take on the Mexican hamburger it was made to order so it was hot and fresh. The service was welcoming and fast. will definitely be back."

"First time coming to Loncheria El Popo, saw it had good reviews and thought it looked good to try. The reviews were right! Food and customer service did not disappoint! Would love to come back! Good price and good portion sizes. We each had two and that was plenty! The peppers were also so delicious and had a good heat to it!"
"10/10! the food was so good. it’s just down the road from the mall and there’s parking all around. highly recommend this place and the ternero lonche. the food came out pretty quick for us and service was nice! we got recommendations and they checked on us often. for sure going back soon :)"
