"Rude with a terrible attitude, better to just go across the highway to QT since they won’t treat you like they hate their job."
"About half the time that I TRY to fuel here, the pump doesn't properly take a credit card so then I need to cancel and go to another pump. Even so, this was my GO-TO station as it's on my way home, easy off and on the I-10. TONIGHT .... MY LAST TIME. I've had it. Didn't work AGAIN but the pump would not cancel. My new on-the-way-home fill-up is now the ExxonMobil at Hwy 46. Cheaper too. Fix your pumps, Shell!!!"
"Gas station cashiers are rude. Tacos are soggy, and never get changed out. Go to QT across the street."
"This place is INFESTED with bees. I got stung twice while pumping gas. Went in and let the cashiers know and they said “we’ve done our part and put in the order”. Not even oh so sorry that happened. Do yourself a favor and go to the gas station next door or the QT on the other side of the highway."
"We frequent this gas station going home from San Antonio. We usually have a pleasant experience. This time right before 8:00 pm on Monday night was a marked exception. The woman’s restroom was terrible. There was just one stall suitable for use. There was no trash can for paper towels so there was an accumulation of used ones on the counter. Frankly, it was gross. I shrugged my shoulders and went on. I grabbed a drink and was looking at scratch tickets when the young man behind the counter told me he could not sell me anything at the moment because of shift change. He was polite, but I found this to be ridiculous. He said it would take him at least fifteen minutes to get the books together while he waited for his replacement. I am in the service industry, so I get that things happen, but not selling something at a gas station because of “shift change?” I’ve never seen this happen before. My guess is that he closed his drawer early so he could leave as soon as possible. I even asked him if I could pay cash, and he said no. I can’t imagine that corporate nor management would be fine with this kind of practice. I politely told him that this was really bad business practice. He apologized and shrugged. I hate to leave a negative review, but come on. We will be finding another place to frequent on our way home from now on."
