"My first perfect meal experience at an airport. The alligator bites brought me in, but it was Jennie, my server, who made a big difference. She gave me the 411 on the restaurant and how they source their ingredients. Impressive. in addition to the perfectly fried alligator bites, she recommended the crab dip and it was also a hit. I can't wait to connect through DFW again."
"I have shifted my travel style to accommodate long layovers in Dallas just to get more Atlantic Salmon Alexander with Cajun grilled shrimp and crawfish with dirty rice. Pappadeaux is to die for! The bar is excellent with lots of inventive cocktails and delicious iced tea."
"I don't eat seafood but my husband was so excited to see this place at the airport, I had to let him go. There aren't a ton of choices for non seafood people so I settled on the mozzarella sticks and I have to say they were the best I have ever had. I couldn't eat them all and asked the lady at the next table if she wanted the rest. The first thing she said after taking a bite was that they were the best she had ever had."
"We had a layover in Dallas, and were starving, so we chose Pappadeaux because it was close to our boarding gate, and looked interesting. The food was great! We had Seafood Gumbo, and Shrimp Po' Boys. Excellent! David, our server, was awesome. He even double checked our flight for us, found out we'd be departing ahead of schedule, and very kindly packaged our food to go (complete with utensils and napkins) so we could finish our meals during our flight. I'd definitely recommend this place!"
"Nice stop during my layover in Dallas. It was a bit crowded, but I was seated fairly quickly. The server was very knowledgeable of the menu, which was a big help. The food didn't take long. The presentation was nice, and there was plenty of flavor. I started with the Andioulle sausage and seafood gumbo and finished with the salmon and scallop with green beans. I was pleasantly surprised by how good everything was. However, to drink, I had the sriracha bacon bloody mary, and it definitely left a lot to be desired. It tasted like a regular bloody mary, and the bacon was just a cold strip of regular bacon. There was nothing sriracha about this drink at all! For what you pay for a drink in the airport, you'd hope you get what you pay for. But, it's not always the case, unfortunately. All in all it was good food and a nice experience. Definitely recommend!"
