"We ordered through Uber eats. We were super excited to see that they’re serving auntie Ann’s pretzels as they are my daughter’s favorite. What was delivered was absolutely disgusting. The hot dogs were hard and dry and the outside dough looked fried in oil but at the same time still raw? They were inedible. I ordered half a chicken salad sandwich and it was 90% bread. For the cost we were so disappointed. The highlands location is great."
"Order here pretty frequently and rarely have issues. I bought a spicy turkey melt, and even though that's what the box said, that's definitely not what I got. It had the thickest slices of cucumber and tons of olives on it (more olives than meat -like someone dumped a filled container on it). I called the restaurant back when I got to work and they said they would look into getting me a refund but I haven't seen anything yet. Holding out hope but not hopeful."
"This McAlister's is consistently slow, but tonight it took the cake. When I walked in, there was one family ordering and one seated with food. That was it. I walked in at 8:22. I checked my text messages because I received one as I stood in line. I ordered a ruben, potato salad, and an Arnold Palmer. I didn't receive my food until 9:07. My sandwich took 35 minutes, seriously. To top that off, it was very heavy on the 1000 Island, to the point that the rye was mushy and falling apart on top. The sauerkraut was in a lump and not spread at all. It was just a big mess. *No pickle and etc too. There were employees doing side work rather than helping with food. Some walking around on their phones and doing everything but getting food out to customers. I spoke with the manager, and she said those employees were off at 8:30. There was a long drive-through line, and they had one trainee making sandwiches. She did apologize, but it's always slow here - just not this slow. I wonder if it's the owner or the GM who's responsible for such a poor performing restaurant. Either way, the slow service should be addressed. I really like McAlister's, just not this McAlister's."
"The food was served promptly in a clean environment. The attentive staff frequently checked in with diners, refilled drinks, and cleared plates promptly. The hot and delicious food was a pleasant surprise. The staff even tipped the pole with the order number to indicate that the table needed to be cleaned."
