"I run and review for boston halal foodies up north, but on my trip to Dallas, we ended up at Poblanos Piri Piri for dinner. The food was all great. We had the chicken biryani, which was excellent. My son had the chicken zinger burger was great and the fries were also very delicious. The full chargha - whole chicken cooked in a tandoor with spices was just finger licking good - peri peri sauce and the white sauce were great for even more flavor enhancement. Absolutely loved the food and and very reasonable prices. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious meal at a reasonable price! 5 stars! We went back the next day for Christmas Day brunch before heading out to Houston. Oh my God… the brunch was delicious. The halwa, puri, chole, aalu bharta, egg omlet (desi style), chicken korma, chicken tikka and fresh naan and bhaturas (puris), mango lassi and chai… all you can eat… the food was amazing — I wish we had Shakeel bhai in Boston! 5 stars again for the quality and the delicious taste of every item in buffet! We will miss you until next time InshaAllah"

"Came in on a Monday night at around 5:40, it was not busy when we came in. There is only one cashier and she was extremely amicable and helpful. We ordered a chicken sandwich, a whole chicken meal and mango lassi. Everything was delicious! The chicken is super jucy too! You can order your chicken to be prepared with any of their house sauces. They also have a garlic mayo sauce that is delicious! Please visit, you won’t regret it :)"

"Let me start with the positives: My food was very fresh, and I believe it when they say their food is healthy. It has a very home cooked meal feel. The person who took my order was friendly and polite, the price was very reasonable, and the portion sizes were good. I can definitely see why people could love this place for those reasons. That being said, I was a bit underwhelmed by my meal. I ordered 'hot' piri piri chicken strips. They weren't even remotely spicy. Which I normally don't mind, but I was underwhelmed by the flavor, in general. That could have been on me for ordering the wrong thing. However, they were also out of the coleslaw side I ordered, and their drink machine was also out of order. Not exactly a good look for a restaurant, but it happens. Since the new reviews ask about the atmosphere now, I guess I should point out that their atmosphere is simplistic and did not have much in way of ambiance. It doesn't exactly seem like a place people stay for a while. In summary, I definitely understand why people love this place. However, there were just a bunch of little things that added up for me. While there is nothing overtly wrong/bad about this restaurant, I don't see myself coming back. Nor can I recommend it, unless you want a home cooked meal that is on the healthier side, and order to-go. Then maybe I would list it as an option."
