Milano Cafe

"Not impressed. Salad came out small and lifeless. Was no half n half, almond milk or anything other than regular milk for the expresso drinks. Alfredo was literally the worst I have ever had with no flavor.. and the portion was extremely small for $20. I could have made it from a jar with better flavoring. Customer next to us complained to their server that the food was too salty they couldn't eat it. My server was sweet... other than the fact she didn't understand what drip coffee was when I asked if they served it. Spent $50 and only ate the salad and tiny overpriced meatballs. Marinara sauce was pretty tasty. Really wanted to like this place since it was right next door to my nail salon. Too bad it was an extreme disappointment."

"My husband and I had a wonderful time tonight. The waiter was amazing: we didn't wait long for food and she just knew when to come when we needed her. We enjoyed the food and atmosphere too: not crowded or noisy. Tiramisu was awesome too! Definitely coming back."

"The atmosphere is quaint and has an intimate setting. The service was personable and delightful. The food is very very good with a decent menu, and it's more like a mom and pop restaurant with a lovely atmosphere! My friend and I enjoyed it. Try it. You're sure to enjoy!!"

"This place has delicious food although the noodles are not homemade, they taste very close to being homemade. The atmosphere was awesome with the piano player and a singer. my only complaint is that maybe cover the windows so you don’t feel like you’re in a strip mall. I tasted all my fellow diners meals, and the food was delicious."

"Lobster ravioli is AMAZING!!! The sauce is sooo good and the lobster filling is divine...really! The Greek salads we had were very good. We ordered garlic bread and were so happy we did because it was warm with a toasted cheese mixture that was delicious! My husband and I were really surprised by the generous portions...thank you Milano for not skimping! The wonderful food, generous portions, pretty surroundings, and competent pleasant staff make this cafe a gem of a restaurant in South Austin. We are so impressed we are considering having our staff Christmas party at Milano. Thank you Milano Cafe! Oh!!!! I forgot to mention the Teramisou and the other yummy desserts...sooooo delicious!"
