"I ordered 10 tacos total and the price was very decent ! They were so nice and the best barbacoa I've had in a while. I have to drive to oak cliff for good tacos and they're more expensive. They need more custos !"
"I recently visited Taco Rico, excited to try their tacos, but left deeply disappointed. The most striking issue was the size of the tacos - they were unexpectedly mini, resembling a child's portion rather than an adult meal. This was surprising and quite unsatisfying. The language barrier added to the frustration. The staff's inability to communicate in English made it challenging to place an order or inquire about menu items. While I appreciate cultural diversity, effective communication in customer service is essential, especially in a diverse community. Additionally, my order was incorrect. Despite attempting to clearly convey what I wanted, the language barrier possibly contributed to this mix-up. Receiving the wrong food only compounded the disappointment of the small portions. In summary, my experience at Taco Rico was far from what I had hoped. From mini-sized tacos to communication issues and a wrong order, it was a series of letdowns. I hope this feedback is seen as constructive and leads to improvements for future customers"
"The restaurant has breakfast, decent food and dessert. They always serve tortilla chips and salsa free before main course. I sometimes visit here for soup. I like the Mexican vibe here. The price is reasonable. The reason why I give 3* because I had the soup last week and it tasted little bit old."
"I was intrigued to come try this place because of all the good reviews this place had. Unfortunately, I was so disappointed! I’m baffled by the amount of good reviews this place has now that I’ve tried it. I had both barbacoa and trompo(al pastor) and neither tasted the way they should. And to make matters worse, the customer service was very slow and horrible. When they finally came out, they gave me the wrong meat on my sope. I told them and they acted like I was wrong and gave me attitude. Then when I told them it was the wrong meat, they admitted that they didn’t have what I asked for so they just changed it instead of telling me. She then reached into my plate with her hands instead of just taking my plate or bringing me the correct one. I just wonder if it’s always been this bad or if something changed."
"Went in took a minute to look through the menu before order a huarache, sopes, and pupusas. The employee greeted us as soon as we stepped in and was kind as we placed our order. The food didn't take long and it ended up being delicious. Favorite thing that I enjoyed the most was the sope ( I had pastor). As we finished and left the employer thanked us for coming in . You can also place order over the phone and come in to get it."
