"This restaurant has a great atmosphere. Nice and quiet, great lighting and the food is fantastic. This restaurant has been here for many years and they are still doing a great job!"
"Absolutely an amazing dining experience! Everything we ordered was prepared to perfection. The pecan crusted Chilean sea bass was excellent. From the valet to the server everyone was very friendly. The suggestions from our waiter Rafael were great! He knows the menu very well. The owner personally came around to introduce herself and check on her customers. Now that’s what I call service and hospitality!"
"This spot came highly recommended by a well-traveled friend, since I was staying near the restaurant for the night, and it was on their top 5 best places to eat in the DFW area. My expectations were high. I decided to do takeout and pick up the meal myself. The order on the Via Real website was super easy, and my meal was ready for pickup in 15 minutes. The parking was ample, and the entrance had two heavy wood doors. From the outside, it left a mystery as to what was to be expected inside. The moment I opened the doors, the old Spanish charm took my breath away; no detail was left behind. Walking through another set of doors, I was greeted by three people. They very quickly went and got my order, made some small talk with me, and I was off. I ordered my guilty pleasures, which were grilled steak and chicken nachos, and stuffed jalapeños with Spanish rice. The nachos were served more authentically in large tortilla chips, and they gave me separate containers for all the toppings. Everything was so beautifully and carefully packed for me. Also, I got a large bag of their tortilla chips and salsa. This might be the best chips and salsa I’ve ever had. The chips were so thin and delicate yet had the crispiest crunch. The salsa was perfectly fresh, with sweet tomatoes; the salty and acid levels were on point. I could honestly drink that salsa. The stuffed jalapeños were roasted perfectly so they still maintained a bit of their crunch without being raw. The spice and seasoning levels on everything were perfect. I regret not getting dessert too. I’ll definitely be back to try their full entrees."
"Amazing all star restaurant. This is fine dining at its best. From the moment you step in the door, they treat you royally. We had the roasted shrimp and sea bass enchiladas. Everything on that plate was amazing from the spinach salad to the shrimp. We also had a classic standard of beef enchiladas with rice and beans. They were the best. Save room for the chocolate raspberry cake; it’s so moist and rich. You’ll want to have it with a coffee. The staff was so attentive. They had excellent wine pairing suggestions. Even the owner stopped by our table. Fran is a delightful woman. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole evening."
"Had a business meeting and ordered takeout to go. The atmosphere is beautiful and in a nice location. The chips and salsa are amazing! The chips were fresh and lightly salted. Perfect combination with the red salsa. While waiting at the bar, I asked for a menu and received a response from a gentleman that he wasn't on the clock yet and was just getting in and to please give him a second. The other wait staff didn't offer a menu. We waited, and the gentleman came back with the menu as promised. It was roughly 4:15 in the afternoon, and the restaurant wasn't busy yet. I ordered the Abodo Shrimp and Crab Enchiladas with Mango black bean salsa and added 2 scallops. Once I made it home, (Ft Worth), I realized the enchiladas were missing the mango black bean salsa. I'm sure it's a great compliment for the enchiladas. Overall, the crab enchiladas paired with the shrimp are a good combination. The shrimp was delicious and had great flavor. The spinach was a bit bland for my tasting, and the scallops were cooked to perfection."
