"As much as I enjoy Ethiopian food, I discovered (unsurprisingly) that I like an Ethiopian/Texas BBQ fusion even better! This place definitely lived up to the hype!! The presentation, the flavors, the service. Really creative and tasty."
"I had a great experience at this place. The atmosphere was casual and open, with good service. I ordered the Pork Sandwich Awaze style, with a side of green beans and a mango margarita. The sandwich was tender and juicy, but I didn't love the green beans. Overall, it's a great spot!"
"On my way back from a business trip, I stopped by an extraordinary restaurant celebrated for its blend of Texas barbecue and Ethiopian cuisine. Experiencing it firsthand, I understood why the establishment garnered praise from the New York Times, earning a place among the best restaurants in the country for 2022. The Times emphasized the restaurant's belief that the lively Ethiopian flavors, featuring a spicy awaze sauce made with berbere, harmonize seamlessly with the barbecue selections."
"Delicious! I stopped by this afternoon for a brisket slider and a slice of Texas sheet cake. The brisket was tender and smoky. There was a barbecue-type sauce, berbere, drizzle on top that gave it a nice hint of spice. The sheet cake had pecans that had spice as well. I quite enjoyed it! There were plenty of places to park and the staff were all very friendly! Tables were squeaky clean and ready to seat whomever wants to pop in for a bite. Thank you Smoke N Ash :)"
"Smoke’N Ash BBQ had amazing food. First time trying Ethiopian cuisine. Really enjoyed trying the different type of stews. The red lentil and spicy beef stews were my favorite. The Ethiopian style bbq chicken was good as well. Would definitely recommend!"
