Reviews of Blue Bonnet Cafe
"This was a fun place to visit. If you're in Marble Falls, you should make sure to stop by. We went at 4:30pm on a Saturday and it wasn't busy at all. The food was good. We all got lunch/dinner items. The chicken tenders, corn bread, and biscuits were especially good. The burger and fries were ok. I enjoyed my pot roast dinner. We're thinking this is more of a breakfast specialty place so we're going to try the breakfast food (served all day) next time we go. We also had a delicious chocolate meringue pie. The one big miss here was that they don't have sweet tea. A diner that serves southern food in Texas that doesn't have sweet tea is unheard of. Overall, it was a fun visit. We'll go back next time we're in the area."
"Great diner vibe and super fast service. I dined with 3 friends. The line was out the door but moved quickly. After we ordered, the food arrived so fast! We enjoyed all the food."
"This is a place for pie and coffee. Come in the morning for that a skip the lunch/dinner crowds and food. This review is without the pie. I’m not having pie today but someone at my table did. It looked good! The food was quite average. I’m sure other places in town have better food but this is where everyone comes."
"Excellent Texas country fare in a classic diner vibe! Super friendly and helpful staff, and some great pie and milkshakes! Definitely a must stop! Fantastic place to eat after you learn there is no waterfall in this town!"
"The food here is great! But what they are known for is there pies! You can choose from the following: apple, no sugar-added apple, cherry, peach, pecan, fudge, chocolate cream, chocolate meringue, German chocolate cream, peanut butter cream… They even have milk shakes where you can choose from 16 oz. of chocolate, strawberry, vanilla, or make it a malt. I brought my kids and nephew here to eat after we worked up an appetite from visiting the Longhorn Caverns Texas State park down the roadway. I ordered the 8oz country fried steak with mashed potatoes, salad, and Italian green beans. All of my food was delicious. However, my country fired steak was a pain to cut and I had to chew for it a while before I swallowed it down. I felt like if I didn’t I was going to choke. My daughter ordered the Mexican dinner. She ate her entire plate. My son ordered the chicken tender adult meal and ate how entire plate. Finally my nephew ordered just a cheeseburger with chips. Parking is like going through a maze, but plenty of parking to choose from and spacious for larger vehicles. Their milkshakes are really delicious. I didn’t get to order my pie because they were out of the chocolate cream pie. I have been before with my family for breakfast in the past. They serve breakfast all day! Their breakfast is really good. Their service is phenomenal and they are up to date with 21st century technology by using TOAST. You can pay by cash or just tap your Apple or Google pay via your phone, watch, or credit/debit card. The entry way of this place is narrow, they do have an exit by the gift shop counter. I recommend taking that exit when it is super busy here. I highly recommend trying this place out. Just make sure you come super hungry. Otherwise, you will not be able to eat all of your food."
