"The service is wonderful! The staff is so polite and helpful. I was there with my two boys and they had no problem with them asking questions. Our server even showed my son how to use chopsticks! I will definitely be back for the delicious hot pot. I chose The Best of Both Worlds(regular and spicy broth) and the bar was open to pick what you want in it. THANK YOU HAPPY LAMB!"
"Delicious food, the broth base was flavorful, spicy, and the pot was a good size to feed 2 very hungry adults and a child. There is an option of topping off the broth in case you run out and the meat is unlimited. The self serve buffet had just enough options to make it a fun experience though compared to other hot pots I have been to, it was on the small side. We visited on a cold Saturday evening so the place was busy with customers wanting to get warm with a nice hot soup, so the staff were very busy but doing their best to check in on every table."
"We frequently visit the Happy Lamb location in Houston, and decided to check this one out while in DFW. We were supremely disappointed in both the self-service food, the cramped layout, and the service. The self-service food was around 1/4 the size and selection of the Houston - Bellaire location, had a broken ice cream machine, and you could not get your own drinks. Service was slow to refill drinks and take meat orders, and to clear the tables. The restaurant was really cramped and walking to the self serve food was inconvenient if there was more than 1 person doing the same. The broth and meats were standard and tasted fine. The issues wouldn’t normally leave a bad taste in my mouth, if it weren’t for the price point. Charging the same price as a superior location, for less value, was an extremely disappointing experience."
"This was a fun experience. It was our first time trying this kind of thing, and it was awesome. The friendliest staff helped us because we had no clue what to do. My favorite part was the dip she made us individually. She knew I liked spicy and she liked regular. It was a garlic, peanut, oil mix of goodness that made the flavors over the top!"
