Reviews of Beto's Mexican Restaurant and Catering
"Great mexican food place, tha flavor is amaaaaazing, I went here with my mom and this place did not disappoint, we received an extraordinary service from Bryan, such a great guy. We tried the tacos con carne asada and the sirloin and it was extremely good. Margaritas are also delicious, not to mention the desserts. The Sopapilla Cheesecake with Ice cream is a must have. 10/10 I would go again."
"I’ve lived here my entire life and I’m so sad I’ve just recently tried this restaurant. Food and service are amazing!!! I especially loved the margaritas, salsa, & beef quesadillas. We came back again within a week of our first time here. So delicious!!!"
"Beto’s is a pretty solid Tex Mex restaurant with a festive environment toned down for family dining. The waiters are friendly and dart around with easy determination, they know the drink menu by memory but refer your order to the posted menu. I say posted menu, I almost wrote printed menu except this place uses those goofy QR code readers ubiquitous to most modern cell phones. Isn’t that interesting? You must have a cell phone in order to read their menu. Me - I like holding a print menu in my hand, goin back and forth comparing meals and trying to decide what I want. Especially since I’m convinced that most cell phones are carriers of germs and other hidden gunks … I won’t even set my phone down on the table if I’m gonna eat there. Cell phones are unsanitary. Moving on. I learned early on in my marriage that I get better looking when my wife drinks, so I encouraged her to have a rum and Coke. I like the bar placement at Beto’s, it’s close to the front and has a prominent “Come on in!” physicality to it. The bars not overly showy with a bunch of monitors and screens. So I won’t call it a sports bar. It’s just a good place to sit down and drink. Ive been intending to come back and see if they have any drink specials. Now my wife and I share our meals, we ordered a Mexican street corn as an appetizer. It was served on cob which was not easy to share. I would have preferred it in a bowl. We split the enchilada plate, which I contend was made in heaven and not Beto’s kitchen. Afterwards we split a praline cheesecake and it was so good that I started counting how many times my wife sunk her fork in and I accused her of eating more than her share. We had a pretty good time, no surprise to me because I’ve spent my last two Fathers Day dinners at Beto’s. I really enjoy it."
"Liked their Tex Mex style fajitas. Salsa tasted like diced canned stewed tomatoes, not a fan but tablemate's favorite, and the chips were light and flaky. Service was friendly, but I would've liked to have been advised that there would be a surprise $4 upcharge for vegetables instead of rice and beans (server suggested mushrooms and onions) and $2 for a tiny ramekin of guac which comes standard with regular fajitas. Also, our server was eager to receive his tip, yet he picked up none of our dishes throughout or after the meal."
