"Shipley must have changed the donut recipe. Donuts use to be like and aire. These donuts just taste like dough."
"Definitely a disappointing visit as food was not fresh, I arrived around 8:45AM and ordered a dozen of Hot Glazed Donuts and one Sausage & Cheese Kolcahe. The Donuts were not hot nor extremely fresh, the Kolache bread was hard and inside did not taste fresh either. For it to be this early on a Sunday morning and the weekend at that it's unacceptable.."
"Disappointing Experience at Shipley Donuts on US-59 I recently visited the Shipley Donuts located on 19399 US-59 at around 9 am, eager to indulge in one of their famed cinnamon rolls. Unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. Regrettably, the cinnamon roll I received wasn't as fresh as I've come to expect from Shipley. It lacked the warm, gooey goodness that makes their pastries so delightful. This particular visit was a departure from my usual positive encounters at Shipley Donuts. Having frequented the location on North Sam Houston, I've grown accustomed to their consistently fresh and mouthwatering donuts, regardless of the time of day. The disparity between the two locations is evident, and it's safe to say that the US-59 branch fell short in comparison. While I've had wonderful experiences with Shipley Donuts in the past, this specific visit left me somewhat disappointed, and I'm inclined to recommend the North Sam Houston location for those seeking consistently fresh and delectable donuts. Here's hoping the US-59 branch can step up their game to meet the high standards set by other Shipley establishments."
"It was overall meh. The lady working was not very friendly and just kinda rushing. The donuts were kinda dry, not fresh. To be honest just disappointed and the prices are higher than other shipley’s. Wouldn’t recommend especially seeing the other reviews."
"They give you over-baked donuts and horrible customer service. They might be donuts from the day before. The outside layer had a different texture than normal. I have gone multiple times throughout the week for the past months and today, they gave me 2 out of 3 burnt donuts. Of course, I didn’t realize it until I got to my work. Unfortunately, I don’t plan going back. They tasted really dried instead of soft! - I have already filled out the Shipley’s form and made the complaint as well."
