"Not a fancy place! Udipi Cafe is an OK place for a quick bite on weekday. We went on a weekday afternoon for Lunch Buffet. Some items tasted very fresh and tasty that day while some were not good. We were lucky, sambar, idly and vada were all fresh tasting. Also bhatura and some vegetables tasted really good that day. Payasam was good as well. Did not try any chutney, pickle, raita, or salad. All in all, the buffet is a good value for the weekday price. Their service was very attentive. Wish, they would upgrade the place, ambience, and decor to make the place more pleasing."
"The lunch buffet is really delicious and authentic. The owner, the manager and the entire Team personally check with each Table and make certain you have a great experience. We especially loved the weekend buffet, just wished we'd skipped breakfast so we could have done more justice to our stomach for the awesome spread they had. We are definitely going back, and would recommend this to any vegetarian Indian food lover."
"We ordered from Uber eats for 15$. We got six containers with a small rice box and one Phulka roti. Rice could suffice just 1.5 box worth of curry and it cannot be even called a starter. I would say, it’s not even child meal. Too pricy and I am going to avoid this place hereafter. Also, attaching picture for proof and I am going to through away all the curries which is not useful. Also, Taste was just okay."
"I visited this place for lunch buffet along with two other non Indian individuals to let them taste South Indian Vegetarian food. Although it did not disappoint my friends, to me it appeared to be a diluted version of the typical South Indian dishes. I am not too sure dishes like malai kofta were included along with panner based North Indian curries. The rasam was too bad. I hope the owners stay focused on fewer but quality dishes served."
"An ok place to have your quick lunch break. I was there for their lunch buffet. Nothing too crazy all the curry felt like just water added and not boiled with the spices in it. I didn’t get a vibe of returning back to this place for my lunch break ever even I am around this place. The food was just ok, not so worth it. The spices were not well cooked. I hope this place gets better and has a lot of potential growth for this place. I hope management takes over the responsibilities and looks closely on the buffet side."
