"Wow! When you walk in, you just know it’s going to taste amazing. Everything we tasted was great."
"Hi peeps. Joy to the world, the smoke has come, let earth receive, it's king. Of bbq smoke that is. Merry Christmas and a Happy New RIB. I said it. The luscious aroma of real wood smoke over savory meats your thing? Then Jambos is the spot if you are anywhere in the DFDub. Historic Division in Arlington. Went with my brodi to look at an S550 he just has to have. Got a tummy grumble that only bbq could address. Slide on over to Jambos. Saw some pics in a review that looked tempting. I got a mountain of peppery sausage on what had to be the best toasted bun ever a bun was prepped. The meat was pure pork heaven, and the bun... soft, but with a goldeny, buttery, crispy layer of caramalized goodness that brought it to another level. Side of fried okra rounded out the meal. Kept it simple because it was my first time here. Well worth a pin on my map. Jambos is now my spot when in Aggtown looking for smokey, mouth pleasing bbq. The people greeted me, checked on me to see if I enjoyed my meal.. Great service is part of a great experience. Could use some butcher paper or parchment to line the tray to give it a better bbq joint flair. Felt like my food was put on a serving tray. Okra could use one of those red lined plastic baskets, or just line the trays. It cheapened the plating, the eye appeal. The ketchup was watery. Presentation is a part of how you increase appetites, or kill them. Overall, this was 5 star food, but really need to tighten up the finishing touches. We have a ton of top tier restaurants in the DFW. If your prices match the spots that look finished, then elevate your game to match."
"I visit Texas to visit family and friends every so often and I genuinely wish I had known of this place earlier. The Mac and cheese is absolutely an immediate favorite, and the brisket was divine. I had their jalapeno sausage, burnt ends, and cowboy corn as well, all amazing and memorable, but the brisket and Mac and cheese were some of the best I've had. They aren't too expensive either and their desserts are a perfect end to an amazing meal. I will come back every time I get the chance from now on."
"We've tried Jambos BBQ before but it was a to-go meal ordered by someone else. This was our first visit inside. We ordered the 1 Meat 1 Side Kid's Meal with Chopped Beef & Mac n Cheese, Pulled Pork Sandwich, and the 4 Ribs 2 Sides Rib Plate. The ribs were very good. They have 3 BBQ sauce flavors: original, sweet, and spicy. I liked both original and sweet sauces."
"Burnt ends felt more like jerky.. super dry and not edible. Mac n cheese was flavorless. They forgot one of my sides. The chopped brisket, fries and bbq sauce was good though. (The pickle and jalapeños pictured were from my own home)"
