"If you like good Texas barbecue, this is the kind of place you wish was right around the corner. Not only is the food some of the best barbecue in the state, the joint is a perfect neighborhood handout. If you like beer, they have some of the coldest around. The owner will come chat with you and tell you about the history of the restaurant and his dad who started it. Seriously, one of the coolest little joints I've been to in a very long time. Plus, I got to try it out with my daughter!"
"The loaded baked potato is amazing and definitely worth the price! The nachos on the other hand, maybe something good to eat there. Definitely not a great item to take. Nachos tasted good but they were soggy. I enjoyed the rub that they use. It had good flavor and the barbecue sauce was nice and sweet. Overall it was great and I will be trying it again. The only reason why it didn't receive five stars is the soggy nachos."
"Our family's favourite BBQ place so far. Best meat at a very reasonal price. Their mac&cheese is second to none."
"I stopped in here Wednesday, Nov 8th, 2023, to grab a quick bite for the road. Ordered half a pound of brisket but somehow got charged for the .7 that got cut without asking if that was OK. Was on my way and opened it up as I was on the road only to be disappointed in two fronts. The brisket had no flavor. Luckily, I had a cutlery packet in my console that was left over from another restaurant that had both salt and napkins because neither were in my bag or offered in the store. Unfortunately, the lack of salt/ flavor was the least of my worries. The brisket had apparently been sitting in a warning pan so long it had not only dried out, but it also had formed a nearly burned out bottom layer from sitting in the pan so long. There was no having a "slice" of brisket because it was still connected at the bottom burnt end and fell apart in pieces from drying out. Take a look at the pictures. I don't normally do sauce, but thank goodness they put some in the bag because this wouldn't have been palatable without it."
"Best loaded chopped beef baked potatoes!! This particular day I got a lot of dry meat but overall the food is yummy! As most food today with inflation a little costly but so worth it. You get the cozy farm vibes for sure! Called in my order and food was ready in 10 minutes."
