"If you are looking for traditional Puerto Rican food you must experience this restaurant. The food is delicious! My personal favorite is Pernil with Arroz con Gandules and Maduros. Esquisito!!"
"Following a whimsical suggestion from my Uber amigo, I ventured into the flavorful realm of El Mofongo, and it was a culinary escapade worth celebrating. The mofongo with skirt steak stole the show, a symphony of taste that transported me to Caribbean bliss. The sides danced on my palate with a zestful rhythm. Yet, what truly crowned this gastronomic fiesta was the staff's amigable vibe – a warm embrace that made me feel like part of a comida familia. With every bite, I pledged allegiance to El Mofongo, a destination stamped on my map for future cravings of Caribbean delight. ¡Volveré, sin duda!"
"Everything was delicious and full of flavor. Being a Puerto Rican from NYC I’m happy I found a Restaurant that cooks like my Family. To find Kola champagne was also a great reminder of home and loved that. Wish they had some Bad Bunny playing or salsa."
"Visited this place several weeks ago, kind of disappointed me and the group... The mofongo was no good... texture ok, but the flavor was nothing like a good mofongo. It tasted like one garlic clove in a full gallon of water. Also, the pernil was very cold in the inside and hot in the outside, which makes me think it was just reheated from the day before... and the Pollo AL ajillo normally comes with butter and garlic.... the one we ordered came more like pollo a la criolla... taste no different than the mofongo... Finally, the sorullitos were good, and the mayo ketchup ok."
"It is very hard to find an authentic Puerto Rican restaurant let alone a good one, and this is one of the best I’ve been to in the US. The food was cooked perfectly, such great flavor, and such a good size portion. A few more bucks than your typical ‘Chili’s’ dish but way more quality for your money and absolutely worth it. Staff was incredibly nice to my wife and I. As frequent visitors to PR we really appreciated all the artwork of El Morro!"
