"Large selection of very tasty "comfort food". (the breakfast tacos on corn tortillas are my favorite in town). Really friendly staff that really does make you feel like you are in a neighborhood of friends. And they are very accommodating of my wife's dietary needs (she has celiac). One of our new go to places for a meal out."

"My mom was craving good chicken fried steak, and I found this place online. Wonderful service! Very friendly staff & the atmosphere is cozy. The guy who took out order found out it was my mom's bday and he sang her happy birthday. Making her smile just made our visit here even better. And the food is so good!! Tasty & cooked perfectly! "Great food. A menu where everyone can find something. I enjoyed the Cobb Salad, my husband enjoyed the CFS, and other family members had soup and salad and one had the smothered steak. We all had empty plates at the end. You order at the counter and they bring you your food. So I suggest looking at their menu online if you have trouble making quick decisions - like me."

"This was the first place I hit after flying into Dallas. Pulling up, parking was difficult to find, but I usually take that as a good sign so it wasn't a huge issue to park on the street. Immediately, the atmosphere and warm colours were a welcomed sight. Ordering was easy and they were fine with a few adjustments to some of the orders. The food came out quickly and dear gods it was delicious. I got the Chicken Fried Chicken and it just fell apart as soon as I bit down. Most likely a buttermilk recipe, the breading was so light and airy. The servers were wonderful and attentive, kept the drink refilled and made sure to take any cleared plates. Overall, the experience was absolutely wonderful and it made a great first meal in Texas."

"1st visit. Nice homey feel. Order at counter and sit at table of your choice. Food brought to table when ready. Variety of choice from plate lunches to sandwiches. Fish,steaks burgers look awesome. Breakfast served as well. Definitely returning to try other options."
