"An institution within the Houston coffee scene, Agora has been serving delicious drinks for over 20 years. In the heart of Montrose, this coffee shop is a mix of kitschy, eclectic, and cozy place. The almost tucked away exterior belies the exquisite interior which is decorated with local and Greek items. The interior sitting area is also interesting as the second floor is an all around balcony overlooking the first floor. In addition to yummy pastries, and espresso drinks, the place serves nitro brews, local craft brews, and wine. A great place to connect with friends, study, or just get a good cup of coffee."

"I found this place on Houston’s Top Coffee Shops on an influencers social media. It has very little parking in the parking lot so be prepared to find street parking. Upon entry it had a great cozy feel to it. The staff was pretty friendly. I had no clue what I wanted to order since it was so late I didn’t want to risk no being able to sleep due to caffeine luckily the barista walked me through many caffeine free options. A pot of tea paired with a thick slice of banana cream bread. Both were perfect. Going up the stairs was a weeee bit challenging as the steps are old school and very very steep. Once I found a cozy 2 seater table in a corner I really enjoyed the subtle music,this is not a quite coffee shop it is very social. To be a rainy Saturday night to be able and look around and see a very diverse group of people was amazing. All ages, coffee drinkers, tea drinkers, wine drinkers… some just sitting and talking, some studying, some reading a book, others exploring the internet. I most definitely would attend again."

"We went to the cafe at around noon on a Sunday. It was almost packed, but we were able to find a nice table on the second floor. The cafe blends perfectly with the artistic, vivid and young atmosphere of Montrose. I ordered a latte and it was great. I love the ambience with all the paintings on the wall, and the nice match of colors of all the decorations. On the second floor, you got a nice view of the street, and you could chat there without much distraction. The staffs are friendly. They also have a wide variety of baked food. I would love to go again."
