"My kind of place. I live in a place where catfish is not a normal meal offering. Anytime I am in the southern part of the US, I like to find a place like this. I had the small catfish dinner with beans, slaw, hush puppies, two catfish pieces, and substituted a salad (no potato.) Best part: the waitress. Great meal!"

"My Aunt took me to this spot, it was sooooooo good! And you get nice size portions. I got the fried catfish, The rolls were good as well. It comes with 2 sides, I couldn't eat it all. Server was great!"

"We came for the first time. I had the mini Slap yo Mama Sam’s Catfish dinner it came with coleslaw beans tomato relish and hush puppies and a baked tater. I really don’t care for fries. They are however fresh cut fries. Our server was Lucy such a sweet girl and so helpful. Darrell had the shrimp dinner it has the same sides. We both like sweet coleslaw and we asked and she brought a sample. Nope didn’t like but that’s our preference y’all might like it. I had a bake potato and I asked for lots of butter and sour cream. This is the first time ever did I get what I asked for!!!! I got double tomato relish Darrell got double beans. I had to taste the beans for the review. I can tell you that the mini strips looked more like filets the fish was hot just the right amount of spice an crispy. The rolls were almost as good as my homemade rolls LOL. The food was so good! Darrell’s shrimp was jumbo butterfly and he ate them all! Hush puppies were delicious especially with butter! You need to make try that s place and ask for Lucy!! We will be back!"
