"Terrible experience place is dirty and lots of moms shopping there? Clothing is not expensive lol also they had a line in the back? Don't shop here on holidays wayyy too many people."
"I was shopping and I heard an old woman bullying her employees behind their back. It was absolutely disgusting, it makes me not want to go back there again! I hope that poor girl found a better job bc that old hag was straight up a horrible person!!!"
"Found a really pretty dress in my size (which is hard to come by). I took it to the front to pay, but it didn’t have a tag. The employee let me know that I wouldn’t be able to purchase it because of their policy. Supposedly they have to confiscate items with no tags and then tag them at the end of the day? I didn’t appreciate the lack of help and empathy they gave me. I explained that I didn’t live in town and that I was willing to pay whatever they came up with if they just let me purchase it. This “policy” should be made more clear as I have never heard of this at any other Texas thrifts (mcallen, San Antonio, Austin, etc.)"
"For a 2nd hand store they do good. Big, clean, well organized, but their check out is poor. All go to one side of the store to wait for one checker. But 10x better than their competitor Goodwill. They're a newer store but super unorganized. Chaos, very narrow isles so that they can cram as much stuff to sell as possible. To me it's unsafe because you couldn't run out in case of an emergency"
"Excerpts from their mission statement (above); “Incredible selection of unique items at bargain prices” & “high quality merchandise at reasonable prices” This store is flooded with items that you can honestly find at the Dollar Tree store for only $1. Here, these donated items are priced at 100% to 209% over retail price. I stopped by today and there were about 5 different shoppers pointing out the disgrace of over pricing (pictures below). One shopper went to ask an employee about a box of 50 envelopes (that you can get anywhere else for $1) about the astronomical price of almost $9 for the item, and they responded that corporate priced then that way. If you are looking for office supplies, Walmart, Target, and Office Depot have them at a real bargain. I demand to know what worthy charities we are really helping with our purchases..."
