"I would rate it a zero if I could!! Walked in and sat at the bar, they took forever just to hand us menus. We glanced at the menu and realized they did not have any decent cocktails so we decided to leave. The BARTENDER stated “you can go across the street for more price friendly options”. Disrespectful customer service, coming from a bartender."

"This was our first time to eat here. We came in with no reservations. Reluctantly, the manager was able to find room for us at one of the 15 or so open tables. After locking up our cell phones, we were led to an upstairs table. Our waitress was outstanding in every sense of the word. Overall, the food was average at best, but over-sauced and over-salted. The stand out dish was the tiramisu, it was very good. We had the meatball appetizer, which was good, but tasted a bit like scorched lemon. The gnocchi was more akin to a spongy scallop than traditional pinched gnocchi, with a very overpowering blue cheese sauce. I had the roasted chicken, which was good. The restaurant was very loud, and the music was competing with the well-pickled bar patrons. I can't say that the value is there for the prices they are charging for the food. They seem to want to come across as pretentious. Come on guys, it's the Stockyards, relax..."

"Stopped in just to get an appetizer and a beer before going to watch Bo Phillips band at the White Elephant. Wasn’t exactly expecting a place so fancy in the Stockyards. We did not have reservations, but were able to sit at the bar. Staff was very professional and friendly. Bartender was super friendly and engaging. Best meatballs I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating. Clams were also superb. Will definitely make reservations next time and order a full meal."

"One of the best dining experiences we’ve had in years! The food was incredible and the wait staff was amazing! Truly could not have been any better! All restaurants should follow their lead and adopt the no cell phone and dress code. This is what fine dining should be! Also, ask for Milosh as your server. He was an absolute pleasure. Thanks to all at Catarinas for making our evening one we will not soon forget."

"The manager was insanely loud on his cellphone The pasta I ordered for my children was so salty the next order had no salt at all. The yellowfin tuna, don’t bother. Also incredibly salty. From one chef to another TASTE YOUR FOOD BEFORE IT LEAVES THE KITCHEN!!! The waitress was kind but maybe not her place. Was only our table there. Very slow. They think way too highly of themselves with no merit."
