"Have always been a fan of small business vs "big business", especially after the horrible mismanagement of the last ~3yr and how small businesses got screwed. Contributing to a business owner that's actually going to appreciate your support AND enjoying some unique food is incalculable. Tried this place because of a Groupon deal and holy moley it was amazing. The amount of food for the money was great; we were able to turn our lunch into three (3) meals. Had lunch there, carried some home and had it for dinner THEN added the last little bit of pulled pork to a cheese pizza for dinner the NEXT night. Food was tasty; owners were incredibly sweet and accommodating. The husband cooked the food and then immediately hopped on some repairs around the business (it was an old Sonic restaurant) while we ate. The wife made sure we had everything we could want, brought us our food, and checked in on us a couple of times. Both very, very sweet and we were happy to be there. Definitely hope this place gets some support from the local community and we'd definitely go back."

"Just went today to try them. I love small businesses and we were in the mood for bbq. The staff is very nice. But the food was not great. It was cold, the meat was old and we were missing a side. Mind you, we ordered three plates. Unfortunately, I doubt I’ll be returning."

"FANTASTIC up and coming BBQ hidden gem, family owned and operated. Located in a redone Sonic restaurant,(yes there is inside seating!) Cash, Cash App, or Zelle... no cards. RIBS are to die for, gotta get here early to get them though as they are the first to sell out. Brisket is just as yummy and well seasoned. Also of the opinion BBQ sides are just as important as the meats and ooooo i will be craving their potatoe salad! Will need to come back for Soul Food Sunday!"
