About the Business
El Paisa Cocina Mexicana is a restaurant located at 1550 North Beach Street in Fort Worth, Texas, United States. We offer authentic Mexican cuisine, with a focus on "serious tacos" that are true to what you would find at taquerias in Mexico. Our recipes have been passed down through the El Paisa family and are made fresh every morning in our kitchens.
We also offer delivery service, so you can enjoy our delicious food from the comfort of your own home. If you're looking for the real taste of Mexico, El Paisa is the place to be.
Our restaurant is named after Emilio Zapata, a key figure in the Mexican Revolutionary War who fought for the rights of the rural poor. His legacy of fighting for ¡Tierra y Libertad! (Land and Liberty) is still honored in Mexico today. Come visit us at El Paisa Cocina Mexicana for a taste of authentic Mexican cuisine and a tribute to a true revolutionary hero.

"El Paisa Cocina Mexicana in Fort Worth TX is a hidden gem serving up authentic Mexican flavors! From the sizzling fajitas to the flavorful tacos, every dish is packed with deliciousness. The friendly staff and cozy atmosphere make dining here an absolute delight."
"Typically when I see an “authentic” Mexican restaurant that looks like it’s a part of some fast food chain red flags go flying everywhere in my mind, but that is not the case for El Paisa. This place makes some bomb sopes, and their chicken enchiladas with sour cream sauce hits the spot every time. The service is exceptional, and the convenience of the drive through is great. I only wish they’d bring back the tostadas!!!"
"Not so good anymore, tortas has like 5 little pieces of meat a lot of lettuce, tacos tortillas reheated, it’s sad how food lost it’s tastes , no le ponen carne expensive for bad food , 2 tortas and 2 tacos drink 48$"
"Their food is great I can’t complain. Their barbacoa is one of the best, sometimes you need to add a little salt but other than that you can’t go wrong. Their horchata is always really good as well. But yesterday (10/14/2023) I went and had a really bad experience. As soon as I get there I notice two workers, the drive thru girl and the guy are chillin talking on a table. I was like I guess it’s slow and didn’t think anything of it. I proceed to go to the drive thru window. And I’m there literally 10-15 minutes and nothing. I keep saying hello on the speaker and don’t get a response. Mean while a line forms behind me and some people even end up leaving. Then a kitchen lady opens the door and notices the line and finally the girl and guy stop their date and actually get to work. I get to the window and instead of getting my drinks ready they both just keep talking. The girl hands over my food and I remind her that I’m still missing my drinks. Typically with the other girl that works there you are in and out. These new love birds can’t seem to focus on work."
