"They 100% have the best pizza dough in town - fluffy with a slight char to it. I ordered a pie online 30min before opening and was able to pick it up it fairly quickly. Staff is super friendly and helpful."

"We ordered the tomato pie for pickup with an estimated time of 8:05pm. I read a bunch of reviews that said pizzas take longer than expected so we showed up at 8:30pm and our pizza still had about 5-10 mins to cook which was a problem because we planned for it. The pizza is solid. It’s crispy and thin, the sauce is a tad acidic for my liking, the seasoning has a little kick to it which I liked and I loved the shaved garlic slices. I wish the basil was distributed better. Two of our slices had burned crust as pictured. So burned that you cannot eat it. Not really worth complaining over two slices but annoying enough to write it in a review lol I would come back 100% for the vibe. The backyard feel with the string lights and indie soulful country music made for a really pleasant night. The pizza is a 3.5 but the vibe is a 5."

"Wow! My wife and I went to Sammataro this afternoon to enjoy some pizza - we were pleasantly surprised that it’s not just a pizza joint. The outdoor space is pet-friendly, and a comfortable space for big and small groups. The guy at the window took our order was helpful and threw some chili oil in on the house. We ordered meatball pie and it was incredible. Their true wood burning oven creates an incredible crust and under carriage on the pizza. The meatball was incredible and their cheese was excellent. It was nice to have the wine show Cork and a Screw in the same park to enjoy some natural wines with their pizza. We’ll definitely be back!"

"Honestly one of the better pizzas I’ve ever had. So simple and so delicious! The sauce is INCREDIBLE and the crust is a perfect height, not paper thin but not too thick with the prefect chew. Would recommend to anyone! Live music and string lights make for a fun atmosphere too."
