"I reached out to RV Expert the first week of Sept about some minor damage to the under body of our trailer. Christie was the person who text back and forth with me. I explained the damage 3 different times over 2 months including pictures and the after 2 months of me chasing her for an estimate, she said they needed to send someone out. A tech came out for about 10 min, took the same pictures and measurements I sent and said they would send over an estimate. I then never heard back and then text again to which she immediately replied that in order to give an estimate, I needed to pay $185. This was never communicated and makes absolutely no business sense. I am chasing them to give them business and they try to scam some money by saying it takes time and effort to prepare a proposal and they won’t provide an estimate. Very poor experience and seems greedy to charge $185 for 10 min of work to gain a customer. Be aware. Reply to their response The fee was never communicated. Ever. You couldn’t even remember what was wrong with my camper but you are stating that you remember the details of a conversation from 2 months earlier. Why would I wait for two months if I knew that was your policy. Millions of service companies provide free estimates with the same costs as you. The service tech spent 8 min at my house and literally took the same pictures that I already sent. 8 min, checked my gate log. Please don’t lie."
