"We drove more than hour from north side to try the bbq buffet night. The ambiance and patio seating is nice and service is fairly good. But the food was far below average. The variety was very limited. Way too much salt in everything, so if you have BP or health concerns please avoid. The quality of chicken/meat is also below average. The food is not worth it. But the whole environment and service is good so I really hope that they can improve the food quality, because we would love to enjoy the beautiful patio again, but probably will not return due to the food."

"I personally liked this place. But honestly honestly the environment was better than the food itself. I had the outdoor bbq buffet and all the food had way too much tenderizer and salt, but for the most part was still pretty good. Pretty expensive, and they charge a 18% service fee."

"Dined at Lush Cafe tonight, on the trip to Houston, solely for trying different restaurants after seeing their food on Instagram. The atmosphere/environment was wonderful, the buffet menu was good but the food was not as we expected. It was too salty to eat, or you can say extremely salted. The smoke from live BBQ was really nice, and dining outside in open air next to the grill with tempting bbq smell was a great experience"
