"I'm not sure where they're getting all the 5-star reviews from, be aware!!!!! Outdated, sad atmosphere! EXPENSIVE, & the food is just horrible (it tasted NOTHING like Indian food, more like a Sikh thing maybe??) Garlic naan = CHEWY, BLAND, dry, slightly burnt. Aloo Gobbi = Again BLAND, stale few pieces of potatoes, mostly tastless cauliflower. (Mind you, the garlic naan & aloo gobbi are what tons of reviews RAVED about so I decided to give them a try. I'm also a fan of Indian food & very familiar with it yet this was a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. Yellow DaaL = SALTY (unlike the other 2, maybe from re-heating it couple days. $13 for a small pot of daal, wow!!!) Altho. the host lady was kind but she saw that I didn't like the food & refused to take it home. I barely touched that horrible aloo gobbi, I even asked her, ''are you guys an authentic Indian restaurant??"" She replied, ''yes''!! So I said, ''it's interesting'''! Yet she didn't bother to ask what was wrong or make make any amends! I have given this place 2 chances over the past year or so, I won't be returning for sure!!!"
"The atmosphere of this restaurant is soooo homey!!!! The service was amazing and the food was to DIE FOR!! I tried the Vegetable Samosas, Tandoori Chicken, Curry Chicken, Chicken Masala, and the Garlic Naan!! 100000/10 recommend"
"Amazing food and service! Came here for the first time with my daughter and we both loved the food. The owner is very nice and the food matches. We tried a variety of things; butter chicken, chicken tikka masala and other things. The complimentary rice pudding topped it off well! Will for sure be back. The naan bread was addicting btw!"
"Service was good. They have buffet during lunch hour. Good spread of food. The Togo dishes we ordered had good amount of food easily shared between 3 people."
"This is definitely been one of my favorite Indian experiences in Houston since I’ve been to Aga’s down in Mahna Gandhi district. However, if you’re in the northwest area of Houston, this is definitely a spot you want to come to. The Indian music sets a great atmosphere in this small little quaint, almost café kind of feel. there’s about 10 tables And during the lunchtime between 11 AM to about 3 PM they have an unlimited buffet. And I definitely want to return back for that. The family and I went there on a Friday evening and had a wonderful authentic Indian meal. The nice thing is that they could adjust some of the dishes to fit the various spicy levels of those in my family. We started off with vegetarian samosas and chicken. We also ordered chicken curry, chicken vindaloo, goat Rogan Josh, shrimp madras,, garlic naan, bullet naan. We were all thoroughly satisfied with every single dish that came out. The services was kind, friendly and thoughtful. They even brought out ice cream for my 2.5 y/o daughter. I highly recommend this if you like authentic Indian food. And I’ll definitely be back looking forward to hopefully a lunchtime that I could really unleash my appetite."
