"Gotta say I’m disappointed that your closed because “we’re out of buns”. You’re called the malt shop. And you have other food to offer. There shouldn’t have been a reason for me to go up there and you be closed. You should be open 7 days a week honestly. You get 5 star for your food but 0 star for this out of buns closed early situation. Bad form. UPDATE!!!! One week later… NO MEAT!!! It’s Sunday dude what are yall doing??!! Do I need to come run this place??? Can I? Who owns this joint? Went back, was open, I was surprised. Food is delish. But now I have anxiety if y’all are gonna be open when your hours say you’re supposed to be."

"The first time here so glad we came before we went to H‑E‑B. We living NRH,Tx and this H‑E‑B is worth the drive, This isn’t about them but this nostalgic burger joint! The service was outstanding took our order and repeated it back! The cheese burger was wonderful it was well cooked seasoned perfectly cheese was melted not wilted! The bun was grilled and buttery plenty of Mayo! Darrell had a cheeseburger and added jalapeños, lol and I’m the one who’s the pepper belly!! Milkshake Darrell had was pineapple and made with homemade ice cream! We had fried pickles so good!! Everything was served hot and fresh! So much better than the high dollar cheeseburgers other places everything we had was $18!! Please try this Malt Shop!!"

"Hot, fresh made to order food, old fashion style burgers (the best style). Plenty of appetizers to choose from to cover everyone taste. Yummy ice cream, shakes/malts and funnel cake sticks finish off a delicious meal."

"Heard about this place and driven by many times but today we took the plunge. We were not disappointed. You can order from the drive through but the wait can be long. We pulled up and parked so we could order from the window. The picnic tables are covered in writing which keep the kids busy looking for their names or interesting dates. No restroom available and everything is outside so waiting in the car is preferred unless you want to brave the elements. They call your order with a speaker."
