"Got there about 7p on a Wednesday evening and the place was about half full. Waited on immediately, got water and chips soon after, then our bar choices arrived. The waitress was friendly and knowledgeable, helped us place our orders, then food arrived in about 10 minutes. Prices have gone up (what a shock! lol) but the Tacos Al Carbon was great, perfectly seasoned and cooked"

"Our food was great and so was the service. Brisket chimichanga was the favorite. We also had the shrimp enchiladas. If you get the enchiladas w/steamed veggies you might want to ask them to steam them more than normal because ours were not as soft as we would have liked. Clean, family friendly atmosphere."

"We sure wish we had tried La Playa Maya sooner. We have been driving past it, at least once a week for over 4 years. The building just doesn't stand out BUT once you step in the door, the inside has a really nice atmosphere and it's well decorated. The food is good and reasonably priced. Portions are generous. Tastes like it's all made from scratch. Service was excellent. Food came out of the kitchen really fast even though they were really busy."

"Very nice dinner on an early Friday evening. Wasn't busy when we arrived, but definitely was getting busy when we left. The chips were typical. The salsa was very good, but at times was a bit spicy. We ordered shrimp fajitas for 2. It was plenty and pretty good. The shrimp was overcooked, but that is somewhat the expected with a steaming hot cast iron pan. My wife enjoyed a margarita.. We'll definitely go back!"
