"We have been going often because of the excellent caring people that work there and the food. I have Celiac Disease, gluten allergy and they always go beyond to ensure I don't get any wheat cross-contamination. Excellent service, they are so nice and helpful!!! You must try all their foods. Our favorite is the moist brisket, all ribs, sausage, loaded potatoes with brisket, potato salad and we buy the Sissy Sauce by the bottle."

"For the most part everything is always good. We mainly go for the Pork loin. The only issue we always have is the pork loin. Either it’s dry or they don’t have any. Never fails on either, this time not available. You only offer 4 main items how do not have one of them or forget to cook it. Had to substitute pork with chicken and for chicken I rather go somewhere else. SMH"

"This is not a daily grub place...this food here set us back 45 smaks... Not bad at all. Food is very well prepared...very tasty...place is wonderful..awesome layout..awesome ambience...awesome friendly staff.... This is a great place to bring family and friends on special occasions..or a weekend getaway.... I highly recommend this place at this address in McAllen... If its barbecue "to go" style this is the place....they have anything barbecue and dessert to olease yiur palate... i have been to more specialized "home made" mesquite/oak grilled barbecue...but that's out of the city... Come on by...this place does not disappoint!! 5 stars... Mike"

"Sandwich was all right. But wouldn't come back for the sandwich. To have the customer do all ordering and such. It's like I work at the restaurant. I don't like it. You should try KFC coleslaw much better than yours"

"Huge place with plenty of seating. Friendly staff and excellent service. Place was clean and well kept. Food was delicious and at a good price. Tried the brisket sandwich and chicken. Also got the cream corn and everything was super delicious. Will definitely be back again!"
