"I bought a Kenneth Cole 8”x 10” photo frame this weekend. Good price, not on clearance. When I opened it to place photo, the glass broke in half. It’s almost like plate glass. Then when I tried to make the best of it and place photo in the frame… and it didn’t fit. Turns out your 8”x10” frame is actually 7 & 7/8’s by 9 & 3/4’s. Wow… this is the first time I’ve ever had this happen."
"TJ Maxx is one of the few discount stores that really tries to maintain organization and display a good variety of merchandise. However, their return procedure is lacking. The cashier that attended me accused me of ripping a bedding set that I was returning even though it was already ripped upon opening (hence why I was returning it). They told me because I had also opened it, it wasn't eligible for a return and there was an argument back and forth. I made sure that every item was accounted for and the packaging was also not damaged. They made an exception, which I appreciate, but customer service at the front could use some work. Also, talking about customers out loud as they're standing a few feet away leaves a poor taste."
"I tried making a return and was not helped. In order to return something, either tag or receipt is needed, which even with receipt they still give you trouble for the returns. Cashier was accusing me of returning something that is supposedly not from there. I asked how I was able to buy merchandise from their store that is not theirs once trying to return it. No help from the cashier nor manager. No knowledge of how long it would take to check the cameras to prove my word. As a customer, they sure do make you feel helpless and on your own. Please shop somewhere else."
"We went to TJ Maxx to use my $10 coupon with no intention to buy beyond that amount. However there was a Samsonite luggage which we need that was on sale ($59.99) and so we bought it. Some nice sunglasses were also on sale ranging from $4 to $8. I got 3 for my nieces. A stainless steel sink drainer that I’ve been looking for - I finally got it, only for $6. Bought also Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day, a hand soap that is gentle on the hands and tough on grime and dirt which I may double up as a dishwashing soap (well, let’s see on that!). There are a number of other clearance items today. You’ll see them in the pictures. The prices, though, still seem higher than other stores. If you’re bargain hunting for some nice pieces, you might want to check out TJM. Two of my favorite items here in TJM are the earrings and evening purses. Come here to find unique ear pieces and elegant purses. Sales associate Beatriz was helpful. We had a brief happy chat; she got me a cart when she noticed I needed one. When I asked where the clearance earrings are, she showed it to me. That’s A+ service. My only disappointment was the restroom which needs some cleaning up. The toilet paper holder is also damaged. I forgot to inform a TJM associate about it; hopefully they read this."
